Understanding the Blood of Jesus Part 2

Understanding The Blood of Jesus Part 2

Refer to chart above to help you visualize the power in the blood of Jesus by relating its spiritual function with that of the physiological human blood functions.

The Prayer power behind pleading  The Blood of Jesus

“Anatomically and Physiologically Jesus’ blood never mixed with Human blood (Mary’s). In pregnancy, there is no mixing of fetal and maternal blood. Physiologically the virgin birth was necessary so that Jesus’ blood would have no human father in origin right from the start. There would be no corrupted Adamic blood.

Therefore Jesus’ blood never mixed with human blood at all not even Mary’s because fetal blood stays separate from maternal blood physiologically.  When Mary asked the Angel how this could be he told her that Jesus would be conceived of the Holy Spirit. So we can rest assured that our redemption, remission of sins and deliverance is from a blood that is unadulterated and wholly Divine.
1 Peter 1:2-4

There is a physiological fetal and maternal blood separation

“…The placenta serves as the method by which the developing fetus obtains oxygen and nutrients from the mother, and at the same time eliminates wastes. The structure of the placenta is based on numerous, tiny fetal blood vessels called chorionic villi. The chorionic villi are bathed in maternal blood within the placenta. This allows oxygen, food, and even small molecules like antibodies to freely move between the fetal and maternal circulations. Of note, however, the maternal and fetal red blood cells always stay separated. There is no mixing of the actual blood cells within the placenta…”

Satan does not want us to refer to or mention the blood of Jesus just as he does not want any mention of Jesus’ Name. The testimony of the Cross and the Blood of Jesus sealed his defeat. In prayer when we use the Name and the blood of Jesus, no spiritual power in high places can stand up against us.  Demonic forces scatter when we mention the Blood or the Name of Jesus in prayer, see verses below.

Acts 4:17-19 KJV  But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name. And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death”

Functional Comparisons between human blood and the Blood of Jesus

In the human body, blood is the only tissue with unlimited movement. It carries nutrition to other tissues to provide life and cleanses them  by carrying waste from them. The blood protects the body by circulating protective blood cells and antibodies. Similarly the Bible says that the Blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness as individuals. It’s the unifying tissue of the human body and when it stops flowing there is death. In like manner, spiritually the Blood of Jesus unifies the body of Christ, feeds it, cleanses it and protects it with “spiritual antibodies” called prayer. Where there is no flow or reverence for the Blood of Jesus the body dies because life is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11). Jesus is the head of the church and it’s important to him that His blood flows for the life of the church and it’s well-being.

Mass Immunization

We saw the first case of mass spiritual blood "immunization" in the book of Exodus. In the Old Testament, they figuratively used the blood of animals and prophetically the blood of lambs. When they were about to leave Egypt, God instructed Moses to tell the Israelites to paint blood on their doors so that the death Angel would not touch their homes. The first born of Egyptians man and animal was struck that night.

Exodus 12:23 NLT For the Lord will pass through the land to strike down the Egyptians. But when he sees the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe, the Lord will pass over your home. He will not permit his death angel to enter your house and strike you down.”

Prayer and worship are the spiritual “antibodies” that activate The Power of The Blood Jesus. We spiritually activate and immunize ourselves by pleading the blood of Jesus in our prayers. That is Praying With Impact.

Impact Prayer

Father in the Name of Jesus, I thank you for providing me with the knowledge of the Precious Blood of Jesus. I now know and understand the Power of this Blood. I thank you that you have provided a reminder of this life in my own body. I thank you for the physical reminder that Jesus left with us of the Holy Communion sacrament. I now plead the Blood of Jesus over my life and my loved ones in Jesus’ Name, Amen!

The Prayer Power behind the "Incorruptible Blood" of Jesus

The Prayer Power behind the "Incorruptible Blood" of Jesus
A  short series that includes a functional comparison to human blood

Jesus said "do this in remembrance of me" 1 Corinthians 11:25

Points of consideration for the series

1. Scriptures showing that God provided blood for sin cleansing
2. Before Jesus, animal blood sacrifices gave only a temporary fix
3. The Blood of Jesus is final
4. The power behind prayers pleading the Blood of Jesus is it's Divinity

Up to the birth of Jesus, the blood of animals that the priests used in temple sacrifices was a corruptible blood that only offered atonement for at most one year. The process was repeated annually. Man's sin needed atonement, remission and deliverance long term, eternally.  Only the incorruptible blood of Jesus could do this. The book of Revelations 13:8 calls Christ the Lamb that was slain from creation of the world. In Hebrews the eternal power of the Blood of Jesus is contrasted with sacrificial animal blood.

Hebrews 9:11But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;12Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.13For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:14How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

But the blood of Jesus being incorruptible redeems us into an incorruptible eternal position as 1Peter 1:2-4 says we are...

“Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

In the next series we will show a scientific explanation of the incorruptibility of Jesus as well as functional similarity to human blood.

Revelations For Powerful Effective Prayer

Revelations For Powerful Effective Prayer

Effective prayer is gauged and evidenced by the changed lives, situations or circumstances that were the objects of the prayer petitions.

Our effectiveness in prayer may be affected by a multitude of circumstances either positively or negatively.  It may be affected by outside influences such as the spiritual resistance that Daniel received from demonic opposition written in the book of Daniel (see scripture below). He overcame this resistance by his diligence and perseverance in prayer.

Sometimes, though, prayers seem to just bounce back unanswered by God, or so we think. But we must understand that God is Omniscient, All-knowing and He does not necessarily answer our prayers the way we know or would want him to.  He knows best and he also understands our humanity. So it is helpful to find out how to walk in his will in our individual circumstances by faith,  so that we may pray more effectively with confidence just like Jesus did many times. As an example he showed us such effectiveness at the tomb of Lazarus (see scripture below)

We have to understand and believe that God truly wants to answer our prayers. Not only is it for the good he desires for us but also the Glory of His Name as seen in the referenced scriptures. He says so in the scriptures and He means it!

We must evaluate and Change the way we pray if need be, by checking the  evidence of changed or unchanged lives, situations or circumstances. This is what testimony is.  We have confidence that through Jesus, that victory is already won however the choice for effective prayer leading to this victory is ours. We may decide to continue to pray the way we have always prayed, even if it does not work or pray as led by the Spirit of God, and have impact. Many times God’s will and solutions require applying His Word, diligently and consistently on our part that includes self examination.

Impact Prayer

God almighty, your word is true and proven. I pray that you May reveal to me the power of your Word embedded in the scriptures. May my  simple prayers line up with your will and the proven truth of your Living Word. Bring life to my ways even as Jesus declared to Lazarus’ dead body and it sprang into life. Like Daniel , help me resist the spiritual deterrents to my prayers and prayer life.

In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen!

Impact Scriptures

 Daniel 10:13
“Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia.”

John 11:40-44 NLT
“Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?” So they rolled the stone aside. Then Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, thank you for hearing me. You always hear me, but I said it out loud for the sake of all these people standing here, so that they will believe you sent me.” Then Jesus shouted, “Lazarus, come out!” And the dead man came out, his hands and feet bound in graveclothes, his face wrapped in a headcloth. Jesus told them, “Unwrap him and let him go!””

Proverbs 30:5 NLT
“Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection.”

Psalms 18:30-31 NKJV
“As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. For who is God, except the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God?”
